All jewelry (with the exception of sterling silver) has been waxed or sealed to help with longevity. This ensures that the patina will not budge and that your jewelry piece will remain vibrant and full of life for years to come. Please store jewelry in a cool, dry environment when possible. A jewelry box or plastic zip bag work quite well for this.
I do put forth a great amount of attention to detail into the design and construction of each one of my creations including, but not limited to, strength and resilience. I want my jewelry to be long lasting and as strong as the person wearing them with the ability to endure whatever life throws at you. That being said, they're still jewelry art pieces, made completely by my own two hands and some precautions should be considered to corroborate a long jewelry life...
For best results:
> Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, or strenuous activity.
> Avoid pulling, yanking, dropping, or squishing jewelry.
> Please be sure to clean ear wire with a mild soap and water before wearing.
Disclaimer: Iron and steel jewelry have the potential to rust. This is part of the reason why these materials are waxed/sealed for protection. If their protective coating wares off over time and you notice some unwanted rust spots, you may polish with a dab of olive oil or mineral oil (you can find these at your local grocery store) and a soft cloth. This will help the metal return to it's original luster and help keep it dark and looking good as new.
Bones and crystals can be broken if dropped onto hard surfaces.
